Camping RULES AND INFORMATION

Thank you for staying with us here at The Island ASC; below are our rules and information implemented to provide an enjoyable and safe place for you, your family, and your friends to camp.

We ask you to respect each other in our camping area, the general property, and the residents. We ask all patrons to adhere to our rules. More information and maps will be provided upon your arrival. Failure to comply with our rules leaves us no choice but to ask you to leave, and in some cases, your bond will be NON-refundable, and a 12-month suspension for camping and riding will be enforced. So, let’s all enjoy the camping experience with our friends and families.

Please respect the wildlife on our property. No interaction or harassment of our resident kangaroos, wildlife, or cattle.

Please be advised we are only on tank water. Limit showers to a few minutes, otherwise we will run out of water. Once we are out, we are out!

Fire/Wood/Cooking

Fires for cooking only.

Fires are permitted outside the Bush Fire Danger Period. However, they MUST be situated in an elevated fire pit (at least 400mm above the ground). We do not allow fires on ground level. This includes open cooking fires. Gas cooking is permitted. Please bring your own firewood and please take home any leftover firewood. No larger fires other than the community firepit.

The Island ASC has paramedics on site for the duration of riding hours, however in the case of an afterhours emergency, please dial 000. The nearest hospital is Richmond St, Bulahdelah PH: 02 49879900.

The Island ASC is totally off grid power supply therefore please limit use of power when required.

No alcoholic beverages allowed at the Complex. The Island ASC is an ALCOHOL-FREE ZONE.

If alcohol is seen, you will be asked to leave The Island ASC immediately.

If pets are seen or heard, you will be asked to leave.

Riding and Bikes

No Vehicle Movements after 4pm

Riding hours are from 8.00am till 3:30pm.

No bikes after 4.00pm (this includes maintenance).

If staff or residents hear bikes, you will be asked to leave The Island ASC immediately.

Campers and NOT permitted to leave the camping area by car or foot. You MUST stay within the designated camping area, unless you are using the amenities.

Any persons found outside the camping grounds will be asked to leave immediately.

Please note we do not have any tolerance for disorderly and disrespectful behavior.

Any breach of rules, you will be asked to leave immediately. All breaches will include a 12-month ban from riding at The Island ASC.

After-hours numbers will be provided to you upon your arrival, including documentation for camping regulations; you will be asked to sign the rules and regulations documents when staying at The Island ASC.
